Handbook on Whistleblowing Systems - Implementation in Germany, Austria and Switzerland

Whistleblowing systems are recognised as an essential component of an effective compliance management system. The importance of whistleblowing systems will increase significantly in the future, not in the least due to the requirements in the EU Whistleblowing Directive.

The 2nd, completely revised edition of the handbook, was edited by compliance experts from Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Accordingly, the legal framework for whistleblowing systems in all three legal systems is presented in detail. In addition to a study on the question of the abuse of whistleblower systems, the new edition also contains explanations on the general compliance organisation in companies as well as on the necessary directions for implementation. This includes, in particular, compliance with labour law and data protection regulations as well as the relevant judicature. Practical challenges and solutions are also comprehensively explained. Numerous practical tips complete the presentation - a handbook by practitioners for practitioners.

Co-editor and author of the handbook is wkklaw attorney Dr Felix Ruhmannseder.
